Vibraphone [vahy-bruh-fohn]
noun.
A musical percussion instrument with a double row of tuned metal bars each above a tubular resonator. Contains a pedal to control sustain. Most impressively (and physically) played with four mallets. Emits a mellow and smooth singing tone.


An exhilarating two-day percussion summer school for school-aged students led by award-winning percussion performer and educator Dr Nick Parnell. Learn new skills, experience a wide range of percussion instruments, and take part in inspiring masterclasses — all in a welcoming, inclusive and fun atmosphere. The event concludes with a mini concert for family and friends, where all participants come together to perform. Places are limited so book now!
